[SOLVED] Modx 2.3.1 : Avoid loading time in manager

Hi !

I have a big problem with loading time in the manager.
each time i save any modification, i have to wait for one minute and a half the ressources' tree to refresh.

it's a website with 400 ressources, each having 10 TV's.

is it normal ?

it was quicker with 2.2.14...

PS: website is installed on a subdomain. I noticed that on my webserver websites were slower than on "direct" domain... but not that slow [ed. note: troubadour last edited this post 9 years, 7 months ago.]

You might want to consider installing Collections and converting as many of your parent/container resources to a Collection as is practical. This takes the children out of the Tree, and puts them in a grid in a new tab in the parent/container resource.
