I've been doing my development on a MAMP server and it's time to migrate to my production server. However, I want to do a bunch of testing before making it public. If place my Revo files files in a folder off my web root, can I simply move the files to the root after testing? Provided I make all directory references relative to the Revo root, of course.
Any tricks, traps I should watch out for?
Thanks.
Depends on your MODX's distribution, advanced can have the core out of the webroot.
What you need is just to set up the path(s).
Remember to modify 4 config files afterward:
1. core/config/config.inc.php
2. config.core.php
3. manager/config.core.php
4. connectors/config.core.php
