Polls, not saving answers to databse

I have the latest version of polls(1.3.2) running on modx 2.2.14. Everything seems to be functioning, except for when a person votes, nothing is sent or stored in the database.

• I am not receiving any errors in the logs
• Everything appears fine from the frontend
• I have changed the permissions so that nothing is being blocked
• I have tried the website on XAMP but still having the same issue
• I have created a test site on the same server with just polls and it does work, so I dont think its a server issue
• I have tried reinstalling modx and polls but no luck
• If I manually enter votes into the database they show in the front end

Unfortunately I am running out of ideas of things to try and test. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
