Tip : How to create an anchor link on these forums#

Several times I have been in need of creating anchor links to make reference to a previous post... I tried to use the url tag with just #msgXXXX but it doesn't work.

Here is how you can do it :

And just to be thorough, you can create links to external web pages by highlighting text and clicking the little world icon, e.g. http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Main_Page

But if you want the text of the link to read something other than the actual link (like this: MODx Wiki), use the construct like this:
