    This is a random one...

So I built a website for a hotel, many moons ago using Evo 0.9.6.1p2. The site went offline when the web host upgraded their version of PHP, many many years ago. The hotel has now been sold, and the new owners would like to see the old website...This is where the problem starts.

I don't think I really want to upgrade the 0.9.6.1p2 installation to a newer version of Evo. At the time of development, I was new to MODX, so probably hacked the core.

Next solution I'm thinking about, is replicating the server requirements for 0.9.6.1p2 on my laptop, than exporting the site out as static html, so they can preview the old site as a starting point.

Primary objective is to just preview and browse through the old site.

I've tried running old versions of XAMPP and MAMP without much success.

Can anybody suggest/help with what I need todo to get this old installation running on my Mac laptop?

      Problem solved smiley

If anybody else finds themselves in this situation, I found:
      http://www.mamp.info/downloads/releases/MAMP_MAMP_PRO_1.8.4.dmg.zip

which has the spec to run Evo 0.9.6.1p2. for some reason, old versions of xampp didn't work.
