Login to web needs login to manager

Description of Problem:
Login in web will not work when not logged in to manager

Steps to Reproduce:

• Install
• define user: member
• Install Login
• resource group: "memberdocs"
• user group "membergroep", attach resource group to user group
• Define home page (not in any resource group) and add: [[!Login? &loginResourceId=`9`]] where resource 9 is a page in the memberdocs
• logout of manager
• go to home page and try to login as member of administrator

Expected Outcome:
Login and go to resource 9

But: no login, redirect to resource 9, but since it is in the memberdocs, I stay on the Home Page, while the browser shows the URL of resource 9 in the address bar.

• MODX Version:2.2.10-pl (traditional)
• PHP Version: 5.3
• Database (MySQL, SQL Server, etc) Version:
• Additional Server Info:
• Installed MODX Add-ons: Login, Quip

Did you flush permissions and sessions on the Security menu after setting up the user and resource groups?

Hi Bob, thanks for your directions. I already saw that flushing is necessary, so I already did this. After some searching we (my team mate and me) found out that some settings in the template killed the session, so the user never got logged in. This did not happen in the manager, because this used another template.
