    You might look at the code of the Subscribe extra, which sends a link that will log the user in automatically on a page with the ConfirmRegister snippet, but doesn't include the username or password in plain text, which is a little more secure.

    I think you could put a Change Password snippet on the page they're forwarded to.

    I'm not sure if the user has to know their actual password to change it, though -- I've never used that feature.

    • Hi Bob, did try the Change Password option, but as you rightly suggest it does require the user to know the original password. By using ForgotPassword and changing the chunk wording you can direct users to the ForgotPassword snippet which creates a random password which once logged in they can then Change Password.
