I am trying to get a multi-select listbox tv to automatically populate with a list of resources in a given parent resource. I would use the resource list type tv, but it doesn't seem to be multi-select. I also want to output that tv in a simple comma-delineated list that getresources would understand in selecting what resources to display.
Thanks!

have you tried this?
<select multiple>
<option value="volvo">Volvo</option>
<option value="saab">Saab</option>
<option value="opel">Opel</option>
<option value="audi">Audi</option>
<!-----insert GR call here ---->
</select>
I'm not super familiar with Revo yet, sorry...used to Ditto!! but that's my initial thought.
That is HTML, I mean in the manager.

sorry, not understanding you. I usually put html in the manager (in the template.) I'd stick a get resource call in the middle of that html rather than trying to get fancy. but as I said, I'm still learning all the Revo functions I can use with TVs.
good luck.

When you create or edit the TV, you should see Listbox (Multi-Select) as one of the options in the Input Type dropdown on the Input Options tab.
Yes but how to I populate that automatically with a list of resources? Basically, I want a multiselect version of the resource list variable.

Ah ... I see what you're trying to do. I can't think of an easy way to do that, but that doesn't mean it can't be done.
You might check out MIGX. It adds a lot of capabilities to TVs.
Your input option values would have to be a @SELECT query.

Ben wants a multi-select drop-down TV when editing a resource in the Manager. Not the same thing as putting a multi-select drop-down in a form on a page in the front end
