I've searched everywhere for a solution for this, but can't find information anywhere.
I have a resource which I've been editing with TinyMCE, which won't save if the word "Casino" is included (Casino is a name of a town for one of this client's offices). Basically it does the looping save animation and doesn't stop until the page refreshes. On page refresh, the resource isn't saved/updated.
The version of MODX is Revolution 2.2.4, using TinyMCE 4.3.2. I also tested this on a 2.2.0 Revo installation, also using TinyMCE 4.3.2 and have the same problem.
Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas?

I agree, it's really odd. I saw that post on the Concrete5 site too, but unfortunately no resolution.
I have tried this with IE9 and Firefox v13 (I use Chrome v20 usually) with the same result.
Can you save it if you don't use TinyMCE on the resource?

My money is on a mod_security spam filter.
something like this:
SecFilter "(viagra|pharmacy|phentermine|symbol|mortgage|pills|prozac|xanax|loan|
loans|roulette|casino|poker|blackjack|watches|valium|tramadol|carisoprodol|morta
ge)"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PLEASE, PLEASE specify the version of MODX you are using.

Yeah it must be a spam filter. Casino is a really common spammy word.

Bingo - it was in fact mod_security anti spam causing the problem (thanks Bob).
Was able to test this by simply editing the Mod Security config through the cPanel WHM - temporarily removed the antispam .conf file and this allowed "casino" to be saved again.
thanks again!
