further, it also appears on my test that this only happens if there are multiple instances on the page, i.e. that you are using RTE in template variables as well.
So far if there is only 1 instance, it's OK
If there are multiple instances then one of them, e.g the last one is OK, the others (on my example I have 3 instances on the page) are not.
    hope this helps
    • Yes, checking with the HTML view will show that it is working, just not displaying. But in any case, I'm still getting that javascript error with every keystroke. No such error in older versions of FF nor in Safari, nor when using an earlier version of TinyMCE (3.3.5.1 with Evo 1.0.4).

jup, resizing makes the text pop back again, this really sucks, only after the FF update today sad

// also ie9 and evo 1.0.2 won't safe the changes.
Evolution user, I like the back-end speed and simplicity smiley
        • Well, I must say that there's no reason to be running 1.0.2, and several reasons for upgrading.

            Update:
Quite a few CMS's are having the same issue, and got the clue from concrete5 forum.
The fix appears to be to upgrade to TinyMCE

I have just upgraded to 3.5b2 which is the latest release and the issue is solved. Too early to say that there aren't any other knock on effects, but so far so good.

Can you please share how did you do that?

                Fair question!

Went to http://www.tinymce.com and downloaded the zip file for 3.5b2
                extracted it locally
                then I deleted the directory
                assets/plugins/tinymce/jscripts
and replaced it with the jscripts directory from the new version
then just to be tidy, update the description in Manage Elements / Plugins

fortunately didn't have to touch any of the scripts etc, so just replacing the one directory seems to do the trick

hope this helps someone, or post if there is still an issue after this

Well, they've changed location of I18n files from v3.3 to v3.4 so I don't think it will work with non-English MODx manager languages, but anyway - good job...

I have installed it in a Italian version of MODX and it works fine.
I have installed the 3.5b2 though.

Firefox 11.0 (Mac OS 10.6.8 ) also seems to harm DocManager's sort Menu Items. Can't drag & drop.

                      Can anybody confirm?
