TinyMCE keeps adding BR tags, in REVO 2.2pl#

Hi all,

whenever there is a <p> or BR tag in the code, TMCE adds a </BR> tag upon saving >leaving>reopening the page. Thus spacing out all paragraphs with an ever growing amount of <BR/> tags
I tried every possible setting in system settings but i can't get rid of this.

It started since we upgraded to REVO 2.2pl. we tried the RC's as well and had no trouble with those.
also TMCE has been upgraded to the latetst verison (4.3.1pl).

any insight would be much appreciated.

Hi,

the only solution that worked for us was to uninstall and remove the Tiny MCE totally form the system.
empty cache
and then reinstall the plugin.
So its a solution, but not a very nice one
