New forum design#

Bring back the old forum design, so I can go back to spending my mornings and evenings just browsing the forums.

The new forum design is killing my eyes. I only visit here when I have to now.

Hi cyclissmo - I'm not intending to open up an argument but that's a bit of a weird post!

I guess you don't actually think that the MODX team will toss away their hard work and revert to the old forums just for you. However if you offer some constructive feedback as to why you're finding it difficult to browse the forums I am sure they will take it on board. It is a work in progress (like everything).

In my opinion the new design is easier on the eye, focuses more on the content and is properly aligned with the new MODX branding, although some of the functionality is not yet working as intended.

I've actually been quite vocal about the new forum design, as well as the logo change and case change (MODx to MODX).

The site is designed beautifully, but the forum design is flawed. It has no contrast, requires me to squint to read ghosted posts, has way too much whitespace, no strokes or graphic elements to bring structure to sections. The forum is beautifully minimalistic, but not at all usable, at least for me.

I would have to agree, I used to quite enjoy going through new posts but now when I clicked it I only get a handful of new posts I'm sure there is more than 6.

Also trying to browse all the categories they are initially grey until you hover over them.
