Search using TVs (Resource List) with a drop down in Front End.#

Hi;

I've associated a TV to a Products resources in a container.
This TV is a resource list of another container's resources (lets say 'brands').

Now i need to display a Search Products page in the front end with the ability to sort by brand using a drop down with all the brands.

I need some help on how to render the dropdown and trigger AdvSearch to display a list of products by brand.

Any recommended approach?

I need the same behavior of the tv as in the backend. A resource list TV saves the id of the resource only so i need something else to bring back the pagetitle. or to render the TV in the same way the backend does.
