    Hello,

I'm running Revo 2.1.3 on iis with mySQL5/PHP5. For some reason unable to make changes to templates and save them. I can create new templates and save them, but I can't modify any existing templates. Any suggestions?

This is a client project and they chose the hosting before hand, so I'm forced to deal iis.

    thanks,

What happens when you try to modify the existing templates?

I just get the saving dialog which runs for a while, then times out. Something else I observed is that I was able to save a change to a template that consisted of less markup.

If it was Apache I would say it's most likely mod_security filtering the request. With IIS, I don't know what might filter such requests. If you can inspect the response to the AJAX request being fired when you click Save, you might get more information.

Checked it with Firebug and it's tell me that /connectors/element/template.php was Aborted. It's not showing any errors though.

Okay, so I sort of solved this issue. My template contained some inline JS and for some reason it wouldn't let it save. Since there's no mod_security and I'm not all that familiar with iis I guess I'll just keep all of my JS in includes.
