Modx Manager Page Javascript not working.#

Hi All,

I just move modx site from one server to another server. I was following http://rtfm.modx.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=22183945

On the new server, now I can see the site, and login to Manager page.

But, when I logged in into Manager Page, I can't make javascript working. (screenshot is available here https://picasaweb.google.com/106114552996083145661/Modx?authkey=Gv1sRgCParrsTx7669fA#5653165517028892482). Any ideas how to fix it?

I'm using :

Webserver : Apache 2.2 + PHP 5.3
OS : Ubuntu 10.04 Server Edition
DB : MySQL 5
Modx : Modx Revo 2.0.4-pl2
Browser Google Chrome version 14 , Firefox 3.6 and Epiphany 2.30

Try clearing your browser cache (especially the java cache) and cookies.

Did you run Setup at the new location?

I already did clean the browser cache using Clear All. But the problem still remain.

Then I tried to run Setup at the new location. It was run flawlessly. At the end of Setup page, I click Login button.

But ModX point me to address http://address.com/manager . So my webserver said Page not found.

Meanwhile, the actual Manager page is http://address.com/ieconnections/manager

Take a look at the paths in core/config/config.inc.php, especially $modx_manager_path.

You might as well check the other paths while you're there.

Thanks ! It SOLVED the problem.

Here's the steps for my problem :

1. First, I changed the $modx_manager_url from /manager/ into - /ieconnections/manager/
After that, I got error :

Could not find action file at: /path/to/manager/controllers/default/welcome.php

2. From http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Moving+Your+Site+to+a+New+Server I re-run Setup step.

3. But it still not solved problem 100%. Javascript is work, I can view the header, but if I clicked the menu, nothing happens. Then I change in core/config/config.inc.php all Path related to new address.

So, totally what I changed in core/config/config.inc.php are :

$modx_connectors_url= '/connectors/'; INTO $modx_connectors_url= '/ieconnections/connectors/';

$modx_manager_url= '/manager/'; INTO $modx_connectors_url= '/ieconnections/manager/';

$modx_base_url= '/'; INTO $modx_connectors_url= '/ieconnections/';

Then I refresh the page manually. And now I can access Manager Page flawlessly.
