Problemen met IE 8 / 9#

Dutch or English. I try it in English.
We just started a few months ago using MODX for our websites.
So we are beginners.
A great CMS. But sometimes its difficult to understand why something does'nt work.
So we have a problem with IE when loading our website.
Picture loading to slow and also we have problems with forms. Delaying entry fields.
There are no problems when using google chrome or firefox...
The original template used flash. We don't use flash for our website.

Please help...

Use Firebug add-on and do IE testing on a IE machine. What has IE to do with MODX I wonder..?

Thanks for your answer.
I think IE has nothing to do with MODX.
Maybe there is a problem with the code of the template.
Using firefox or chrome there are no problems with loading the pages.
So I think there is a conflict between the code/template en IE.
I hope there is someone who can help us.
