    I am trying to keep my client edits limited to Quickmanager access.
    I have a Module (mxcalander) that I want them to have access to without logging into the manager view.
    Can this be done, or do I have to give them access to the manager and customize it with managermanager?

    Thanks

    making a new snippet, which needs a logged in web-user, to access the sharing database
    eh... you're talking about QM+?
    uhm... you need to hack it, then.

    Sure, add a couple of lines after line #398 in qm.inc.php:
    <?php
     // replace _AND_ and _EQ_ inside URL
     $buttonParentId = str_replace(array("_AND_","_EQ_"), array("&","="), $buttonParentId);

    After that, add custom modal button into QM+ configuration:

    for example, DocFinder module has the following URL on my MODx installation
    http://www.example.net/manager/index.php?a=112&id=2

    so, rewrite custom button link parameter as: /manager/index.php?a_EQ_112_AND_id_EQ_2
    ...and you're done.

    Thanks guys,

    I tried this, but was coming up with the "White screen of death".
    But, I was able to track down the URL with this method and link to the page
    in a custom editor page I built.

    Thanks
