Can't find a snippet/module I used last year!

I'm trying to find a snippet or module I tested last year that was an alternative to QuickEdit. It was a static bar that appeared across the top of a page when you were logged in with all the features of Quickedit. It was just stationary and was essentially a series of dropdown menus if I remember right. I've searched everywhere and can't find it.

Can anyone help????

could be a later version of quick edit

That was the original QE version. The new version is the floating pallet.
