manager login broken...#

Until today, all was fine. Now when I attempt to login, (correct user/password), I am taken to the top page of the site instead of the management screen. Is there some way to correct without taking the site down?

Have look at your access/error logs, I believe that if you don't set an error/not found/404 page in the system configuration settings it defaults this to page 1 i.e the top of tour site, this may be what you are seeing.

I have resolved, but not sure how, or why the initial break. I manage from two different locations, home and work. It was broken from home. When I got to work today I tried it and it worked. After returning home , it also worked. Maybe the work login was hung somehow, even though that PC was shutdown. Does modx prevent multiple logins from different IP's?
