We have a functional resource that is restricted based on user group. This works fine and a user must be logged in to one of these groups in order to view the resource content. However, the menu item for the resource is also restricted to being logged in. I'm sure this works for various cases, but there are lots of cases where this does not work. I'm sure many sites want users to know that a restricted area exists where applying might be possible. How do we enable the menu option but rely on the MODx user group functionality? Is there a setting that permits the menu to be public but the content restricted based on user group selections?
