Use Friendly URL alias path, AJAXSearch and relative paths#

Hi,

Firstly I wasn't quite sure of the subject to use for this problem so please bear with me.

I have enabled "Use friendly URL alias path" as I'm using a multilingual site with each language a container off the root. I want to use a single search results page directly off the root. However when I specify a landing page as follows:
The alias for the search results page is appended to wherever I am in the site eg.
http://mysite.com/gb/reports/search-results
http://mysite.com/de/wilkomen/search-results

When I actually need http://mysite.com/search-results

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

All sorted. Discovered the simple was to edit the layout template to change where the form submitted too.
