Have upgraded from release 1.0.1 to 1.0.3 but am getting a Javscript error of "document.mutate.save is undefined" whenever I try to save a Chunk.

Am wondering if the upgrade didn't copy over an updated js file. Any help on this would be appreciated

Sounds like a bad upload indeed. Try re-uploading the manager/ directory after backing up your existing one, then copy your config.inc.php file into the new directory.

Any further ideas on how to solve this? I'm having the same issue and following Rthrash's instructions didn't seem to help. Thanks for any tips!

    Hi Jared,

I uploaded a fresh modx.zip on the server, ssh-ed into the server and did a terminal unzip. This solved the problem of corrupted files.

All that was need afterwards was to copy the required assets and config files from the old to the new version and run the setup.

    Hope this helps

Just in case someone will face the problem and all the methods above won't work:

The error may be caused by improper file permissions set for some files or folders in your 'assets' and/or 'manager' directories.

I tried a fresh install three or four times. Cleared the cache, deleted the entire application. Tried a different version. Deleted the entire application, installed a copy of another working ModX application. Still didn't fix error. Any additional help on this would be great appreciated. Otherwise this is what I did :

Went to wordpress.com and downloaded their CMS. Will never use ModX again.
