Contributing Code to MODx Revolution#

...is actually pretty simple. Just go sign and submit a CLA, and then go signup for a GitHub account.

Then you can fork the modxcms/revolution repository and clone your newly forked repository.

From there, you use Git normally, and can send a Pull Request when you've got code to send over. The MODx Integration Managers will approve or deny your patch, and it'll be in the main MODx repository!

Simple, eh? There are no other barriers now to contributing - just a CLA, and signing up and using your GitHub account. This process is outlined here if you want more info, and GitHub has some excellent tutorials on using Git and GitHub.

does this works the same to clone Packages?
