It annoys me that my primary administrator account can potentially be locked out - indeed lock itself out - of anything in MODx, even the manager interface. In my opinion, there should be an option to create an ultra-powerful type of user account, like "root" on Linux, which can ALWAYS see and modify EVERYTHING - regardless of groups, ACL's, etc. Maybe this is bad security in theory, but in practice, doesn't almost every site have a super-administrator who needs access to everything? Having to constantly add permissions back to this account (as changes are made to other auths) is irritating, wastes time, and leaves the door open for disastrous goofs such as disabling your own access to the manager.
