    Hi,

I just unpacked treasurechest.js and you can download it from here: http://www.altipoint.ch/modx_ressources/treasure_chest/unpacked_treasurechest.js

This is useful for TreasureChest customisation, especially for the things relative to the basket layout.
Just rename the file downloaded to treasurechest.js and place it in the "script" folder.

    Julien

P.S: For those interested, I provide commercial TreasureChest customisation service.

I'm also currently working on a new release of TreasureChest that will permit:
    - use of several baskets (e.g. one linked as usual in the thickbox and a different one on the catalog page),
    - additional placeholders for the cart (permitting more detailed display of prices including per product totals)
    - other features.

All this will be released as a new TreasureChest distribution under the GPL.
An online demo is currently under completion and should be available in a very few days.

    Hi Boudie,

The new 1.1 release, as I name it, is to come very soon.

    It will offer:

    1) Many new placeholders for the cart service:
    - per specimen subtotals
    - per product subtotals
    - cart subtotals
    - currency placeholder

    2) Possibility to use multiple carts displays
(e.g. one in the thickbox and another simplified on the product or catalog pages)

    3) Possibility to use a template for the default service.

    4) Encryption of the PayPal form.

The screenshots available in this folder give an overview of the new placeholders available, as well as the possibility to place an alternative cart layout on the product/catalog page, which is updated by Ajax:
    http://www.altipoint.ch/preview/TreasureChest_11/

Currently, I'm trying to setup manually a PayPal Sandbox Business account to do the tests.
I've done this in the past, but cannot remember how to give the "Verified" status to the account.
For this, I must either link a fictive credit card or a fictive bank account. But how to do this?

I fail at setting the bank account like explained here :
    https://developer.paypal.com/en_US/pdf/PP_Sandbox_UserGuide.pdf , page 24

    Hi Jul,

the link is a dead end... I am looking out to your enhancements

I am also working on some enhancements. Since I am not satisfied with the way the inventory is done right now. When I sell for instance T-shirts I want to know how many of which since are in stock. So I am building an inventory expansion.

Next to that I am working on an integration with iDeal, based on the example PHP code provided by the ING bank.

    Hi Boudie, Hi Dimmy,

There is about one week that TreasureChest 1.1 is ready up to the checkout in PayPal.
Unfortunately, the PayPal Sandbox is very unstable in my case and I'm totally blocked by this as I could never display the PDT page. This is why my new release of TreasureChest is delayed.
EDIT: The redirection problem was specific to Opera 9.62.
I now can work on the "Thank you" page!

If TreasureChest 1.1 becomes popular, multi-gateway support is also in my plans.
I'm especially interested in integrating Moneybookers and the Swiss PostFinance E-Payment system (about 3 mio debit cards).

I'm daily in contact with a representative from PayPal.
He succeeded in doing a payment. So I'll check what happens if I inactivate my firewall.

@Dimmy: Thanks for the class. I'll look at it. But first, all must work smoothly with PayPal!

    Bye,

    Julien

    Hi Jul,

Just wondering how things are going with TC 1.1?
Very interested, would love to use the new version.

    Thanks,

    Hi Maarten,

TreasureChest 1.1 was replaced by TreasureChest 1.2.
See http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,46813.0.html From there, you can find a link to a demo.

treasurechest.js is packed like it was with the 1.0 version
to increase both loading speed and security.

A book about TreasureChest will also be available.
I hope I to finish it soon, but can't find the time these days.
Meanwhile, there is a "Live Chat" on my website through which I can provide support when necessary.

    Regards.

    Julien
