I have posted on my website a template called "Pager" (it looks like a big pager/beeper). There is a direct download for the zip file that contains everything you need to use it as a template. I also provided a file called pager_xcf.zip which includes the original artwork with layers for GIMP. There is a tutorial on how to customize the GIMP .xcf file, how to use XHTML to create a "tableless" template, and a tutorial on using CSS to replace tables as a layout element. I saw a post a while back where a user was frustrated with the lack of included MODx templates. The advice that user received was "It is easy to make your own", which is true, but no one really took the time to explain how. I hope this helps anyone with the same frustrations, or anyone who wants a freebie template!
