MODx Evolution Language Files checking tool#

Attached with this post, an improved version of the small tool developped to check the differences between the english language reference file and any other language file.

This tool which is not a MODx add-on, could be usefull (I hope) for anyone who is involved in MODx language file translation.

Description:

Checks the labels of one or several language files regarding the english file reference. Installer ou manager files could be selected.
For each language providse the list of labels not translated and the list of useless labels.
Works on local environment without MODx.

Hmmm Its really very strange. I downloaded the file several times, tried to unzip it, but it keeps giving me the same errors - "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged" and nothing else happens. I guess I wll be useing the old one (beta one), that I downloaded few days ago, before it was updated. Very strange, hapens for the first time. Any suggestions?

I just downloaded again and unzipped the file without any problems Nevertheless find enclosed an unzipped version. Simply rename the txt extension by php before to run it on your local environment.

If somebody have the same problems, thks to tell me.

We can find and replaced untraslated texts with this tool so easily.

Super useful tool, though the instruction to create a file named tmp_checkLanguageFiles.txt and allow it to be overwritten, it won't give any errors or run properly otherwise

Hopefully I will be able to complete the translation of the manager files to norwegian during october. And I will use this tool to help me do the job. Thanks!
